ImmuneWatch and MiLaboratories Partner to Bring TCR-Epitope Annotations to Platforma.bio
ImmuneWatch and MiLaboratories are excited to announce their partnership to integrate ImmuneWatch DETECT into Platforma.bio, a new user-friendly computational biology platform. Platforma empowers biologists to independently analyse their sequencing data and now, thanks to this collaboration, it includes powerful TCR-epitope annotation capabilities via ImmuneWatch DETECT.
“More and more immunologists are turning to T-cell receptor (TCR) sequencing for immunomonitoring, whether for vaccines or therapeutic responses,” says Sander Wuyts, CEO of ImmuneWatch. “But analysing that data can be overwhelming as large datasets, steep learning curves, and a lack of intuitive tools hold many researchers back. There’s a real need for tools that allow non-computational immunologists to take control of their own data.”
MiLaboratories, the team behind the widely-used MiXCR tool, recognized this challenge too. “Throughout our scientific careers, we saw how difficult it is for researchers to extract meaningful insights from immunosequencing data,” adds Stan Poslavsky, CEO of MiLaboratories. “Most tools prioritize utility over usability, making it hard to get a unified view of what's really happening in the immune system. Platforma.bio solves this and now with ImmuneWatch DETECT, users can go even further.”
With this integration, immunologists can now not only process and explore their TCR repertoires via Platforma.bio, but also easily annotate TCR specificity, helping answer one of the most critical questions in TCR analysis: what are these TCRs recognizing?
Platforma is free for academic use, and the ImmuneWatch DETECT block is now live and ready to use. Download Platforma here or rewatch our joint webinar here.
